GIANT CAUGHT IN ICE, Scoresbysund 2012
 
At the offset of Winter large icebergs get caught in the sea ice – and will usually stay marooned until the come of Spring, which means June in the Scoresbysund area. On a Polar Bear hunt with local hunters of Ittoqqortoormiit in March, one of the sledges in the hunting party fell a little behind and past one massive ice giants caught in the sea ice.
